Patrick J. Mayerbock was born and raised on the Northwest Side of Chicago, where he continues to reside.
After graduating from St. Edward Grammar School and St. Patrick High School, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, where he enjoyed a full academic scholarship. Following his graduation from The University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in May 2006, Patrick worked as a steel hand-setter for PTX, Inc. until he accepted a position with CDW, LLC in April 2007. Patrick enjoyed a great deal of success as CDW’s IBM Software Renewal Specialist, including the 2008 CDW President’s Award distinction. He also began pursuit of his law degree at The John Marshall Law School in Fall 2007. In addition to the many accomplishments throughout his CDW career and law school endeavors, Patrick achieved notoriety as a mixed martial arts fighter, and won a fight that he headlined, by TKO, in September 2008.
In August 2010, Patrick qualified for, and obtained an Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 License. Accordingly, he accepted a licensed law clerk position with The DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, the duties of which he performed in addition to those at CDW, LLC. It was not long until The DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office trusted Patrick with a challenging criminal caseload, which charged him with the performance of pre-trial hearings, argument drafting, and bench trials. Notably, Patrick achieved convictions in the majority of his bench trials and truly developed a knack for litigation.
In April 2011, Patrick was promoted to the IBM Software Licensing Specialist position at CDW, LLC. As such, Patrick leveraged his professional experience, negotiation ability, knowledge of law, and writing ability to develop, lead, and close complex, high-dollar software licensing deals. In May 2011, Patrick earned his Juris Doctor, achieving high class standing in addition to having earned a Certificate in Trial Advocacy, four consecutive Dean’s List nominations, The Allen H. Schwartz Scholarship, and Phi Delta Phi induction and membership.
In May 2012, Patrick started his own law practice in Chicago, Illinois. Patrick represents clients in a variety of settings. From detailed transactional analyses to heated disputes, and matters in between, Patrick approaches his clients’ needs with diligence, passion, and intelligence. Before taking on any case, Patrick performs an in-depth evaluation to ensure that all of his clients’ needs are met. He goes the extra mile to ensure that the job is done right.
Currently, Patrick successfully offers legal services to the greater Chicagoland area, looks to have three of his law review articles published, and is writing his first novel. He is an active member of The Chicago Bar Association, The Illinois State Bar Association, and Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. Patrick also spends his time as a fitness athlete, Precinct Captain for Chicago’s 39th Ward, avid hunter, fund-raising volunteer, and mentor for high school students.
